The Ultimate Coaching Tool Whether you are coaching a beginning bowler who is trying to master simple timing and the basic release or coaching an advanced student, the EZBowler is the world's greatest tool. Within minutes, you can teach a student how to rotate the wrist in the proper direction by mimicry. The unique design of the EZBowler allows you to demonstrate techniques to your students while giving your students visual feedback on both correct and incorrect technique. The immediate visual feedback your students get will provide the greatest learning curve a coach will likely ever see. The EZBowler will allow a coach to assign homework and to check that the student has learned the lesson. Before long, your students will be achieving different releases at will. An example lesson plan for beginners: Lesson No. 1: Learning Correct Posture and Arm Swing (Right Hand Lesson) Stand in delivery position in front of a mirror. Throughout the push-away, backswing, and delivery, make sure the yellow lines on the EZBowler are horizontal at all times without actually throwing the ball. (Note that lines that are not horizontal indicate incorrect form.) Practice this daily to commit to muscle memory.
Lesson 2: Throwing a Spare Repeat Lesson 1. As the EZBowler passes the ankle, release the ball without wrist rotation. A spare ball is recognized visually by a straight flight with horizontal lines.
Lesson 3: Throwing a Light to Medium Hook Modify Lesson 1 so that the wrist turns counterclockwise to a 30 degree position as it passes the ankle. Release the ball. This hook is recognized by a slight wobble. The cylindrical design of the EZBowler creates visual feedback on your axis tilt by creating a light wobble that is immediately recognizable, giving visual affirmation of correct technique.
Lesson 4: Throwing a Medium to Heavy Hook Modify Lesson 1 so that the wrist turns counterclockwise to a 45 degree position as it passes the ankle. Release the ball. This hook is recognized by a heavy wobble.
Lesson5: Throwing a Maximum Hook Modify Lesson 1 so that the wrist turns counterclockwise. As the EZBowler passes the ankle, the thumb is straight up and the palm is vertical. This hook is recognizable by an end over end rotation.
