Introduction Muscle memory is one of the most important aspects of bowling. Muscle memory is the body's ability to automatically perform a well rehearsed motion. For many bowlers, this motion is incorrect - yet it is constantly being reinforced at the alleys because the bowler cannot see what he is actually doing. Most of the pro bowlers spend many hours at home, outside of the bowling alley, perfecting their technique. Some have elaborate set ups in their homes for this purpose. While this may be ideal, it is not possible for the average bowler. The EZBowler is a tool that can be used anywhere and is designed to help break incorrect muscle memory and improve technique. By using the EZBowler, you can improve all aspects of your delivery and release. The EZBowler is made with yellow lines and is cylindrical in shape. The lines are designed to give you a visual guage to monitor your push-away, backswing, and stroke delivery so that you can correct any mistakes that you are making. The cylindrical shape allows you to learn or perfect very specific release techniques, such as maximum hook, medium hook, light hook, and spare deliveries, by watching the wobble of the ball as it is thrown. A spare release should fly straight, while a maximum hook release will fly end over end. This gives the bowler an advantage over practicing with a round ball which does not show axis tilt or rotation.

To get to the top of the pyramid (success) you must build the physical game (the base of your pyramid). Then you can move on to the science of bowling. After you have mastered the physical game and the science of bowling, you can develop a firm mental game. Please keep in mind that the best bowler is not necessarily the bowler with the highest scores, but the one who is enjoying it the most! To use your EZBowler, you need a little space which we will call the practice area. This could be at home, inside or out, or even at the office!
