I really like this device alot for working on your release. You can visually see how much the "ball" is shifted when you apply tilt to it. You can also visually see how the ball is spinning in regards to axis rotation. It's alot more natural to use than a nerf football, and you can cup the "ball" much easier than a regular nerf football.

Because you can insert your fingers into it like a real bowling ball, it's much easier to repeat and experiment with real releases and get the feel for the hand movement and mechanics of the release.

It's a little pricey, but in my opinion is 100 times better than the nerf football in regards to how well you can teach and visualize the release. Using it and a full length mirror just to the side of where you are throwing the ball is a great way to see the hand action.

I'm going to play with the video camera a little bit and set it up behind me to watch the hand action of with the ezbowler ball.

It's overall a great tool for somebody looking to learn how to hook the ball, and want to learn the football flip or open handed releases. It gives you instant feedback as you watch the spinning ball. It's also a great tool for the experienced bowler who wants to fine tune a good release, or create positive muscle memory on their release during a slump." - Keith Wagner, PBA Member
